Made famous by the 60's cult TV series "The Avengers", the Type 26 Elan Roadster was a hit in the sixties with its stainless steel chassis and fiberglass bodywork. The car only weighed 680 kg and was powered by a twin-cam 1558 cc engine which put out 105hp. 0-60mph was done in 8.70 seconds and the top speed was reached when the clock hit 185 km/h (115 mph).
