2013 Gullwing-America 300SLC Concept

Tuning company Gullwing America (GWA) designed their own modern interpretation
of the rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC.
The stylized recreation is supported by the structure of a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster.
The project will not include any significant modifications to the interior,
nor the 6.2-liter V-8 engine, which will still produce 563 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque.
Rounding out the mechanical tweaks are a custom exhaust and adjustable suspension.

Based on a Gullwing reproduction from German company Hoope'r,
the Panamericana Mercedes-Benz 300SL Concept is the creation of a modern-day 300SL that will blend the classic shape with contemporary technology and materials.
Powered by a 5.5 liter Mercedes-Benz V8 engine hooked up to a six speed transmission.
The basic models will be painted in silver with blue accents in the front fenders with the
option of a white finish with red stripes and a blacked out version.
Inside, the cabin will be dressed in a red leather and plaid cloth while the
instrument panel will be identical to the original 300SL.
