1955 Boano Loewy Jaguar XK 140 Coupe

This extravagant one-off Jaguar XK 140 was designed by the renowned
American Industrial Designer Raymond Loewy and manufactured by Italian coachbuilder Boano.
The car was first shown at the 1955 Paris Salon. In 1957, he was persuaded to sell the car
to Archie Moore, then the light heavyweight champ.
Unfortunately, it was destroyed in a fire later that year. (coachbuild.com)

1959 Raymond Loewy's Lancia Loraymo Custom Prototype

Loraymo is an anagram for LO(ewy) RAYMO(nd). It shows elements of the predecessor 1957 BMW 507 Coupe and the successor 1963 Studebaker Avanti. Designed by Raymond Loewy and built by Motto, Torino on a 1959 chassis. The car became Loewy's personal car.

The rear window resembles the Lancia triangle logo. The car has been restored in the late 70s by Basso, Torino and the original 2.5 litre V6 engine with originally 119 HP has been tuned with a Nardi kit, 3 Weber twin carburetors and a modified camshaft to deliver around 150 HP.
