Fiat 500 Jolly Ghia (1957-74)

Carrozzeria Ghia designed this chopped-roof doorless version of the Fiat 500 with wicker seats, often seen sporting a canopy roof. (wikipedia)

Often finished in bright, shiny colors, all the better to match with one’s swimsuit or yacht club burgee. 16.5 bhp, 479 cc overhead-valve twin-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission. (rmauctions.com)

Overall, about 400 Jollys were reportedly produced over a span of about 17 years. Estimate that fewer than 100 remain today. (coolbeachcars.com)
