2009 Morgan Aero SuperSports

Built as part of the Centenary celebrations of Morgan, the limited edition Aero SuperSports is a targa-roofed version of the AeroMax Coupe, sharing its aluminium skinned wooden body tub on a steel chassis with the coupe. The roadster uses the BMW’s 4.8 liter V8 engine which can be mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The engine produces 367 horsepower and takes the roadster from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds. To keep the weight as low as possible, body panels and the two detachable roof panels are made of aluminum. Roof panels can be stored in the boot when not in use.

Only about 200 copies made. (bmwblog.com & wikipedia)
