2009 Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85

Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85, the road version of its GT2 LeMans car, is an advanced mid-engine, two-seat sports car. It is characterized by a lightweight all aluminium body construction. Beneath its racing-inspired aluminium body, the LM85 features Spyker's trademark lightweight all-aluminium spaceframe structure. Only 24 examples were manufactured to highlight the Le Mans theme. The 'LM85' name reflects the starting number of Spyker's GT2 race cars at Le Mans and the road car sports a GT2 inspired livery (burnt Almond Orange with Gun Metal 'S' logo), side mirrors in body colour, a carbon fibre rear spoiler, and GT2 windscreen streamer. Behind the black powder coated alloy wheels, black AP Racing 6 piston brake calipers with AP Racing logo appear.

Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre Audi petrol engine that generates 400 hp. 6 speed manual transmission. Accelerates from 0-to-100 kph in just 4.5 seconds and goes on to reach a top speed of 300 kph. On the inside, black leather and alcantara, which is originally meant to reduce light reflection during racing, has been finished with orange contrast stitching and characterizes the unique interior of the LM85. The dashboard instrument panel is made of turned aluminium. Each car will feature a personalised LM85 serial plaque. Each owner was invited to the 24 Hours race as a VIP guest of Spyker and each received a special Chronoswiss 24 Hours Pilot Watch and fitted luggage.
