Honda Z - 1st Generation (1970-72)

Honda Z is a two-door hatchback microcar automobile made by the Honda Motor CompanyPowered by a 2-cylinder SOHC engine with a 4- or 5-speed transmission driving the front wheels. Marketed as the "sport coupĂ©" version of the N600 "sedan". For some markets the vehicle was called the "Z" followed by the size of the engine (ie: Z600). Also called Honda 600 Coupe or Honda AZ600. First generation Honda Zs were produced from 1970 until 1972.

Depends on the market, the engine size varied from a 354 cc (22 cu in) (Z360), to a 598 cc (36 cu in) (Z600). US only sold the Z600 model with the larger 600 cc engine which was rated at 36 PS (26 kW; 36 hp). The car featured an opening rear glass hatch surrounded by a thick black plastic surround, leading to nicknames such as "TV-set" and "swimming goggles". Total production was 40,586 units. (wikipedia)
