BMW Z1 (1989-91)

8,000 built. Not imported to North America. Features electric "pocket-doors" that both windows and doors can slide vertically into the body of the car. Powered by a 2.5 L (2,494 cc) 12-valve SOHC straight-six engine that provides 170 PS (125 kW; 168 hp) @ 5,800 rpm. All the Z1s were left-hand drive, except the final one built. It was also the only 2.7L version of this car as well. Car can be driven with windows and doors down. Body made of removable thermoplastic panels that could be completely replaced in 40 minutes. BMW suggested that owners could buy extra body panels to change the colour of the car from time to time.  (Wikipedia)
