Volkswagen Type 14A (Hebmüller Cabriolet) (1949-53)

In 1949, German coachbuilders Hebmüller and Karmann were comissioned by
Volkswagen to build two Cabriolets based on the Beetle Type 1 chassis.
Hebmüller built the 2 seat model and Karmann the 4 seat model.
Production of the Hebmüller models ended in 1953 after a fire destroyed the factory
with a total of only 696 units produced. (Wikipedia)
