The Maybach Exelero is a high-performance two-seater sports car designed and built by German luxury car manufacturer Maybach (founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach and his son, later owned by Daimler AG) on request for Fulda Tires. It's the most expensive car with the price of about $8 million. Powered by a 700 hp (522 kW) twin turbo V12 engine. Fulda used this car as a reference vehicle to test a new generation of wide tyres. The German luxury car manufacturer created the model as a modern interpretation of its legendary streamlined sportscar from the 1930s. In November 2011, Daimler's CEO Dieter Zetsche announced, that the Maybach-brand will cease to exist in 2012. The Maybach-limousines will still be sold up to the year 2013, but after that, the name "Maybach" shall not be used anymore. (wikipedia)
